Whether you’re a longtime member or visiting for the first time, you are warmly welcome to join us for an inspiring and enriching week at Brookland Union Baptist Church’s 2025 Vacation Bible School!

📅 Date: Monday – Friday, June 23 - June 27

🕡 Time: 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM EDT. Meals to be served between 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM.

📍 Location: Join us in-person at Brookland Union Baptist Church

Theme: Building Biblical Generational Wealth (Proverbs 13:22)

Come and experience five evenings of fellowship, learning, and fun — filled with uplifting music, engaging breakout sessions for both youth and adults, arts and crafts, and powerful speakers. Each evening our daily sessions will connect real-life challenges with practical, biblical wisdom, as we learn to:

• Explore the word

• Apply the word, and

• Equip the next generation with these same tools

✨ All ages are welcome – from the young to the young-at-heart. Whether you're deep in faith or just beginning your journey, there's a place for you here. Classes are divided by age.

✨ Consecration Service for New Deaconesses

To our Brookland Union Baptist Church family and friends, the Deaconess Ministry invites you to be our guests at the Consecration Service of our two Deaconesses-in-Training, Bernadette Precia-Davis and Vernese Joyner.

⛪ Light Lunch: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM (Fellowship Hall) 

🙏🏾 Consecration Service: Begins promptly at 3:00 PM (Sanctuary)

Let us come together as a church family to support and uplift these women who have answered the call to serve. We pray that you will be available to provide or enjoy the music that will help make this moment holy and joyful.
